The Registrar’s Office staff are committed to strong service excellence in supporting the academic and registrarial needs of current undergraduate, graduate and professional master’s students. These services include advising and administration as it relates to registration, financial need, scholarships & awards, and graduation. In addition, the Registrar’s Office is responsible for recruitment and admissions of prospective students, administration of experiential learning opportunities (international, research, in-field learning courses), scheduling of academic courses and exams and providing faculty support. The staff in the Office work collectively toward enhancing the student experience while being committed to operating under principles of equity, diversity and inclusion.
Your opportunity:
Under the general direction of the Manager, Student Experience and Academic Advising, the incumbent provides academic and career advising in conjunction with student success strategies and initiatives to assist the Faculty of Kinesiology & Physical Education in supporting its students. This role will also provide student advising in the area of equity, diversity and inclusion and in the developing & implementation of diverse and comprehensive programs with a focus on equity and engagement. The role will act as the primary coordinator and champion of equity, diversity, and inclusion programming across the continuum.
