• Ability to support parallel projects in a fast-paced working environment
• Must be able to work independently.
• Responsible for development and execution of testing strategies utilizing various software • deliverable methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
• Work with Development and other internal teams to help troubleshoot and resolve issues, identify risks, and ensure defects are resolved
• Ensures adherence to defined testing quality standards

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills (oral and written) to document/communicate issues affecting Testing.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple competing tasks and priorities with rapidly changing environment.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing/designing and/or testing Informatica ETL workflows.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in the entire Software development/testing life cycle
• Expert in databases/data warehouses and have passion to understand and derive meaningful insights/test scenarios from raw data
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in ETL/Datawarehouse Projects in a Developer/Test Lead capacity.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in reviewing requirements and project documentation to understand what is needed to be tested and to formulate effective testing strategies
• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, maintaining, and analyzing test scripts.
• Working Knowledge of Defect management process, Risk Framework and mitigation, and Enterprise Testing standards
• 5+ years in testing API and webservices.
• Exposure to banking domain – treasury/payment systems.
• Strong competency in requirement analysis, prioritize tasks, identify risks
• Organized and able to Multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Onshore/Offshore model.
• Highly motivated, able to work independently. Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, Communicates Effectively, builds relationships, Influences others
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changes.
• Bachelor’s degree or better in Engineering/Computer Science with an emphasis on databases.
• 5+ years of IT experience in Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Testing and Support of Data Warehousing and Data Integration Solutions using tools like Informatica/Data stage.
• 5+ years of Data/File/Database and ETL/Data warehouse testing. (White box testing is a plus)
• Strong command over SQL. Ability to write complex queries across different database systems – preferred Oracle DB2/Netezza.
• Proficient with UNIX and Autosys.
• Hands on experience in implementing or maintaining automation frameworks that govern testing of Databases or ETL solutions and RESTFUL APIs.
• Exposure and dealing with Testing in Big Data or Hadoop ecosystems – Spark,Hive, SQOOP

• Load Runner 3-5 years
• Performance Testing 3-5 years
