Sylvan Learning – LangleySylvan Learning is the industry leader in providing supplemental education to children in Kindergarten through 12th grade.We are currently looking for tutors for Early Reading, Academic Reading, Writing, and Math. As a part-time Sylvan Instructor, you will be trained on the Sylvan curriculum and given the tools to teach personalized lessons in a small 3:1 setting.As a Sylvan teacher you will:

• Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching
• Develop rapport with students and establish a fun learning environment
• Teach using Sylvan based programs
• Supervise, interact with and motivate students

Instruction Hours

• Monday 2:30 – 7:30 pm
• Tuesday 2:30 – 7:30 pm
• Wednesday 2:30 – 7:30 pm
• Thursday 2:30 – 7:30 pm
• Friday 2:30 – 5:30 pm
• Saturday 9:30 am – 12:30 pm

Requirements:

• Available to work at least 2 shifts per week and commit to 1 year (minimum)
• Teaching or tutoring experience preferred
• Completed or plan to complete Bachelor of Education Degree
