The FP is an important member of the health care team and works alongside other health care experts on a supportive and inter-professional team to provide quality care for clients and help them live an active life during their time in custody and as they reintegrate into the community.This new model of health care provides the opportunity to grow your expertise as a Primary Care Practitioner in an environment where you are supported from day one, and where leaders and colleagues across disciplines will support you every step of the way.   • Eligible for provisional or full licensure with CPSBC

  • Experience in working with patients across a broad spectrum of psychiatric illness, substance use disorders, and personality difficulties
  • Experience in Correctional Health and/or additional certification or training
