Field Service Technician
Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair Industrial meat slicing/skinning equipment.
- Conduct operator, maintenance, and sanitation personnel training both in-house and at customer facilities.
- Perform in-house and in-field demonstrations.
- Provide customer phone/email support, specializing in PLC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting.
- Prepare equipment for delivery.
- Execute rebuilding, repair, and preventative maintenance of customer machines.
- Undertake building maintenance and general housekeeping duties.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree, equivalent technical training, or relevant hands-on experience.
- Proficiency in electronics, AC/DC drives and inverters, PLCs, and electro-mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical drive systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to travel extensively throughout the continental United States and Canada, including weekends.
- Willingness to travel 50-70% of the time.
