Field Service Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair Industrial meat slicing/skinning equipment.
  • Conduct operator, maintenance, and sanitation personnel training both in-house and at customer facilities.
  • Perform in-house and in-field demonstrations.
  • Provide customer phone/email support, specializing in PLC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting.
  • Prepare equipment for delivery.
  • Execute rebuilding, repair, and preventative maintenance of customer machines.
  • Undertake building maintenance and general housekeeping duties.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree, equivalent technical training, or relevant hands-on experience.
  • Proficiency in electronics, AC/DC drives and inverters, PLCs, and electro-mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical drive systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to travel extensively throughout the continental United States and Canada, including weekends.
  • Willingness to travel 50-70% of the time.
