Your day to day:

• Strong focus on the quality of customer service to all customers
• Responsible for servicing, maintaining, commissioning, installing, start-up and providing technical support for the range of low voltage drive applications (AC and DC).
• Ability to work alone using your own initiative or working closely with team members. Goal is to provide customers with the highest levels of service possible
• Understand the needs of our customers and markets, speak the customer’s language developing credibility, loyalty, trust and commitment.
• Continuously seek to add value to the services provided and achieve first time fixes, leading to reduced breakdown times, lower costs to customer, reduction in invoice queries, thus gaining customer satisfaction and retention whilst helping to achieve market leadership.
• Have a commercial awareness and an ability to recognize, promote and pursue new opportunities for sales, contracts, retrofits.
• Ensure that the quality of service provided for each customer meets or exceeds their expectations.

Territory: Greater Montreal metropolitan area and Eastern OntarioWhat will you need to succeed?

• DEC or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
• 3 years relevant experience of fault finding, commissioning and maintenance of AC & DC VFD (Low Voltage) drive applications within an industrial environment.
• Experience on power installation 600V, 480V, AC and / or DC
• Few years experience with repairs on VFD such as transistor / IGBT/GTO, Thyristors / SCR, Diode bridge, driver board / firing boars, Control unit / logic board, power module / power block, capacitors
• Commissioning and maintenance on Motion Control Drive range of products.
• Experience on Siemens Drives equipment (considered as an asset)
• Basic knowledge on Siemens TiA portal, Step 7 programming platform (considered as an asset)
• Strong computer skills using the entire Microsoft Office suite
• Very good knowledge of French and English both written and spoken, to interact with customer in Ontario & colleagues across Canada.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license (vehicle will be provided)
• Must be able to travel within Canada occasionally (approximately 10-15%)
• Ability to occasionally work outside normal business hours.
