Other row crops may also be part of the field testing program. Primary responsibilities of the role are coordinating, negotiating, and contracting leased land for field research trials; acquiring local staffing for in-season activities; conducting research activities such as pre-season planning, planting, phenotyping, study management, harvest, and data analysis.Partnering with breeding scientists, the position optimizes programs and uses cutting edge proprietary digital systems and equipment. All activities work together to facilitate trial execution that feeds the R&D pipeline. Additionally, the role will work with other remote Field Testing Agronomists and/or sites on functional initiatives to improve data quality, standard operating procedures, or quality/compliance actions. We are looking for someone to be part of our dynamic and results driven Northwest team, working closely with the Field Testing Agronomists(FTAs) in Western Canada and our hub in Saskatoon.Bayer is committed to a flexible hybrid working environment.
