Our Crown Corporation client is seeking a bilingual Financial Advisor for a five-month term. In this role you will perform analyses, reconciliations and period-end activities and budget monitoring while supporting stakeholders across the organization. .The Financial Advisor’s duties will include:
· Preparing financial statements;
· Performing historical and current financial data analysis
· Monitoring and recommending adjustments to budgets and forecasts
· Reviews reconciliation and analysis of financial transactions
· Filing financial reports to federal government
· Providing guidance and responding to financial and technical internal enquiries;
· Other duties as required.The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
· Post-secondary education in a relevant field
· Comprehensive knowledge of accounting, budgetary control and financial cost management
· Familiarity with PSAS standards
· Strong analytical skills
· The ability to work with minimal supervision
· French/English bilingualism
· Working knowledge of Unit 4 ERP a strong asset
