Our client is seeking a confident and autonomous leader for an initial 12-month contract to spearhead complex finance technology projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle for finance system implementations and upgrades.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and scope.
• Serve as the primary point of communication between technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.
• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
• Facilitate project meetings, ensuring clear communication and decisive action.
• Oversee system testing, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and support successful deployment activities.
• Champion change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of direct experience managing IT projects, with a strong focus on finance or ERP systems (e.g., UKG Pro, JDE).
• Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project).
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Professional certification such as PMP, CAPM, or CSM is highly preferred.
