In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting both the Finance and Merchandise Planning & Analysis departments by preparing and analyzing Gross Margin, Inventory performance. It’s a unique opportunity to make data-driven decisions that directly impact our business strategy in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Why Work With Us?We value integrity, respect, and teamwork, encouraging a unique and inclusive culture.Enjoy Associate discounts at our stores, available to you and eligible family members.Comprehensive training and development resources to help you learn, grow, and succeed.Immediate access to our Group Benefits package, Associate & Family Assistance Program, and various well-being resources.Discover innovative amenities at our eco-friendly corporate office, along with the flexibility and balance of our hybrid work model.What You’ll Do:Prepare and publish weekly and monthly reporting (Margin, Inventory Statistics, Mark On, Markdowns, Shrink) for use by Senior Management.Participate in the annual and long-range planning and monthly rolling plan processes, forecasting Gross Margin and Inventory components and through effective analysis of historical information.Partners with various functional areas such as: Merchandise Payables, Business Planning & Analysis, Logistics while adhering to tight timelines.Develops, maintains databases and mainframe downloads to enhance the manipulation of data and subsequent analysis.About You:A post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. Commerce, Economics, Finance/Accounting, Mathematics). Working towards a related designation (i.e. CPA) is considered an asset.Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in Inventory/Gross Margin and supporting a retail industry.Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, in particular the analysis features of these programs; experience with Power Bi, Tableau, Alteryx and/or related big data, data manipulation software is an asset.Knowledge of database design, big data manipulation concepts and proven analytical skills.Strong written & verbal communication skills.Additional Information: Candidates aged 18 and over will be required to undergo a criminal record check as part of the hiring process.
