Salary: $21.75

Our client is now hiring a skilled Forklift Operator / Shipper/Receiver to work near Hawthorne Road and Walkley Road. If you have experience operating a counter-balance forklift and a passion for fast-paced warehouse environments, we want to hear from you!

Required skills and qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of frequent forklift operation experience, with a focus on safe and efficient operation
• Previous experience in order picking, material handling, or warehouse operations
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures
• Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (including cannabis) due to the safety risks of operating motorized equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Lift up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
• Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to move products and materials within the facility
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and manual pallet jacks
• Accurately complete documentation, including pick lists and bills of lading
• Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment by keeping aisles clear and disposing of debris
• Manage inventory by moving stock and ensuring accurate storage
• Perform pre- and post-operational checks on forklifts to ensure safety and efficiency
• Work safely and efficiently to meet productivity goals
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
