Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Forklift Operator/ Warehouse Associate to join our client’s production team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for the efficient and accurate handling, movement, and delivery of materials within the facility. The ideal candidate is forklift certified and has strong experience working in a manufacturing-based warehouse, not just distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

Pick and deliver materials/components to production teams accurately and on time
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely, including reach trucks and narrow aisle forklifts (up to 30 ft heights)
Perform daily pre-use inspections of forklifts and other equipment
Organize, restock, and rearrange warehouse inventory as needed
Identify and report any inventory discrepancies or material issues
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization within the warehouse
Follow company safety protocols and procedures at all times
Collaborate effectively with internal teams: Assembly, Sewing, Upholstery, Pre-Production
Complete other warehouse-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in internal supply chain/warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment
Valid forklift certification with experience operating in tight spaces and at heights (up to 30 ft)
Experience picking and delivering materials directly to production lines
Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
High attention to detail and organizational skills
Positive attitude and a strong sense of teamwork
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
Basic computer skills and data entry experience are an asset
Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Working Conditions

Fast-paced manufacturing/warehouse floor
Standing and physical activity throughout the shift
Exposure to noise and dust typical of a manufacturing environment
Occasional overtime may be required
