Join the Agropur Ottawa/Orleans team as a General Laborer, supporting our Warehouse Team! This location is where we produce fresh milk, cream, and ice cream mixes. Join our Warehousing Team at a General Laborer today!

• Must be available to work all shifts, including DAY, EVENING, NIGHT, AND WEEKEND SHIFTS. Hours are based on production and business need, ranging from 32 to 40 hours a week on a changing schedule.****

How Agropur invests in YOU:

• Starting wage of $23.15
• Afternoon premiums of $0.70/hr and night premiums of $0.80/hr
• General Labor position offers a possibility of nearly 40 hours per week (Likelihood of available overtime hours).
• We provide training and work equipment

What’s involved in this role:

As a General Labor for our Ottawa plant, you will be responsible for performing various warehousing duties including:

• Shipping / receiving duties
• Forklift operation
• Order picking
• Clean-up duties
• Perform in a refrigerated environment (1 to 4 degrees Celsius).

What you need to join our team:

• Candidates need to be available days/evenings/nights/weekends.(Schedule is known on Thursdays for the week starting the following Sunday)
• Must be physically fit and able to lift repeatedly 23Kg (50 lbs) loads, work standing up for long periods of time, work in a refrigerated environment
• Previous relevant experience in industrial or warehousing environment (asset)
• Experience with power equipment (power jack, forklift, etc.)
• Experience in the food / dairy industry
