Job Description

We are a market leader in the production of high-end glass and metal storefront facades for luxury retail clients across North America. We specialize in high-end storefronts for prestigious brands and also install glass on commercial and institutional new builds, including schools. One of our notable projects includes the glass contract for the new school in Coquitlam.

Responsibilities

• Determine type of glass, frames, and materials required

• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements

• Measure, mark, and cut glass

• Position and secure panes in frames

• Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products

• Install doors, windows, and other hardware

• Repair glass doors and other glass structures

• Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment

• Work at heights on scaffolding or swing stages

Essential Skills

• Minimum 3 years of glazing and installation experience

• Experience working at heights

• Good attention to detail

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency with hand and power tools

• Experience in commercial construction
