Heavy Civil Project Manager (sewer & water, roads, earthworks) projects up to $10m.Location: Kitchener-Waterloo, OntarioOverview
Our client is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to lead sewer and water, capital infrastructure, demolition, and earthworks projects in the Kitchener-Waterloo region. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction and the ability to manage a team of coordinators, engineers and site staff for projects up to $10m.All projects will be located within the Southwest Ontario regionKey Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and manage heavy civil projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Lead and mentor a team of project coordinators while overseeing subcontractors and site crews.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including municipal agencies, clients, and consultants, to meet project goals.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications.
- Monitor progress, manage risks, and prepare reports for clients and senior management.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 5+ years managing heavy civil projects (sewer/water, earthworks, demolition).
- Leadership, organizational, and problem-solving expertise; proficiency in project management tools.
- PMP or P.Eng(preferred).
Salary: $95,000 – $130,000
