- Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventive services on diesel trucks and heavy-duty equipment
- Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspensions, and electrical systems
- Replace worn or broken components and ensure all systems function properly
- Complete accurate service reports, time logs, and inspection checklists
- Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation as needed
- Work outdoors and in varying weather conditions; perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, climbing, and maneuvering hoses or equipment
- Qualifications:
- Truck and Transport Red Seal Certification, or near completion
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across engine, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in physically demanding environments
- Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and team-focused
