We are looking for a Heavy-Duty Mechanic Journeyman to join our team in the Saint John, NB, Store. Do you have a comprehensive range of general mechanical services? Are you willing to handle routine maintenance and intricate repairs on semi-trucks, trailer alignments, installing bushings, kingpin shocks, etc.?

What kind of person are we looking for?

  • You are a certified Heavy-Duty Journeyperson/Journeyman (Red Seal)
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in front-end brakes, shocks, and wheel alignment.
  • Skilled at inspections, steering, brakes, suspension & diagnostics, adjustments, service and repair on various vehicles.
  • Ability to excel in a physically demanding environment that includes heavy lifting and moving constantly throughout the day.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience and a strong awareness of working in a safety-focused environment.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction and engagement.
  • Help maintain a clean and organized shop to foster a safe work environment.
  • Be a role model and mentor for other team members.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift 30-50 lbs as needed.
  • Being safety conscious is of utmost importance – always wear required PPE and follow instructed work protocols.
  • Ability to assist in identifying potential mechanical opportunities with the Sales team.
