As a tutor, you will:

• Deliver English language instruction based on the Alberta high school curriculum.
• Provide supplemental assignments to help students gain a deeper understanding of the material.
• Offer remedial support for students who need extra help and enrichment opportunities for those looking to excel.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to discuss student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.

Required QualificationsTo be considered for this role, you should meet at least one of the following criteria:

• You hold a current teaching registration in good standing with Alberta Education.
• You are qualified to teach in a Canadian Province/Territory outside of Alberta.
• You are qualified to teach in the United States.
• You are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Education or are a teacher candidate.
• You have experience as a lecturer or course instructor at an accredited Canadian University or College.
