In-Store Product Sampler in Richmond Hill, Ontario

Job Summary: If you’re a good communicator who enjoys interacting with people and sampling food and/or demonstrating products, you will love this opportunity! This may also be a way to round out your hours and supplement your income. We are looking for a In-Store Product Sampler for the Vaughan area.

Locations:

1 – Thornhill – 700 CENTRE ST

2 – Vaughan – 1900 MAJOR MACKENZIE DR

3 – Vaughan – 670 APPLEWOOD CRES

Must have a Food Handler Certification / Willing to Obtain one

· Hourly Wage: starting from $18.00/ hour

· Start Date: January 18th – On going

· Job Status: Part time Hourly

· Total Hours: 6 – 12 hours per week / 4 – 8 shifts per month

Schedule:

· Fridays and Saturdays from 12pm – 6pm

Key Responsibilities:

· Product Demonstrations: Organize and conduct in-store sampling events highlighting featured products.

· Customer Engagement: Actively engage with customers, providing product information and encouraging purchases.

· Product Knowledge: Understand the brands and products to communicate their benefits effectively.

· Setup and Cleanup: Organize product displays and follow food safety protocols.

· Sales Support: Direct interested customers to the correct aisles for purchases.

· Compliance: Follow company and store guidelines, ensuring demonstrations meet safety standards.

Qualifications:

· Must have access to a vehicle ( ASSET)

· Must have Food Handler certificate

· Strong communication and customer service skills

· Organizational skills and attention to detail

· Sales-driven with a proactive approach to promoting products

· Positive, Energetic, Lively and Charismatic

· Previous retail, promotions, or customer service experience is preferred (training provided)

· Previous hands-on experience in brand marketing and customer engagement would be an asset

Work Environment:

· In-store work during peak shopping hours (evenings and weekends)

· Branded uniforms will be provided

· Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
