As an Industrial Mechanic at our Irving Blending & Packaging facility, you will be responsible to maintain the systems and equipment by completing preventative maintenance schedules, restoring, repairing, rebuilding and/or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts. Your goal will be to provide services and support to the team and to develop skillsets while monitoring team members. Your success will be determined by your ability to lead projects and make decisions independently.Kindly note this is a fixed term position for approximately 19 weeks.What We Offer:

Your Responsibilities:

• Conducts daily checks and completion of open work orders
• Assists with capital projects and installation of new equipment
• Responsible for identifying and planning maintenance requirements and work with the maintenance manager to schedule maintenance
• Provide preventive maintenance independently as well as repair any mechanical break downs
• Conduct daily checks and complete open work orders
• Repair or replace defective machinery parts
• Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions, escalate complex / ambiguous problems as required

Your Experience:

• Minimum 3+ year of Industrial experience; Equipment and Machinery Experience; or Experience repairing and installing machinery and equipment
• Level 3 Apprentice or Journeyman Millwright / Industrial Mechanic
• Experience with pump installations, electric motor replacement, gear boxes and conveyer systems
