You’ll own projects end-to-end—from architecture and automation to performance tuning and security enforcement—while helping the broader engineering and product teams deliver faster, safer, and more scalable solutions.If you’re a systems-minded engineer with a strong foundation in networking, virtualization, and cloud architecture (Azure and/or AWS), and you’re excited by the challenge of modernizing infrastructure in a fast-moving, customer-focused environment, this role offers both autonomy and impact. Expect to work closely with developers, support staff, and product managers while influencing platform direction and solving high-value technical problems. Required Skills & ExperienceStrong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), firewalls, and cloud-based load balancersDeep experience managing both public cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and virtualization platforms (Hyper-Converged Infrastructure, VMware, Nutanix)Familiarity with directory services (LDAP, Active Directory) and infrastructure tooling such as Nagios, Spectrum, and CI/CD systemsIndustry experience in B2B SaaS platforms Desired Skills & ExperienceExperience with cloud-native DNS management (e.g., Cloudflare, Route 53) and automation using APIsData center migration experience and advanced knowledge of storage systems (Dell, NetApp)Strong grasp of cloud security models—IAM, encryption keys, and access policies Daily ResponsibilitiesHands-On Engineering: 65%Team Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work: 35%Applicants must be currently authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis now and in the future.Accommodation will be provided in all parts of the hiring process as required under Motion Recruitment’s Employment Accommodation policy.
