Our Pickering client, an established Sales and Service provider of assistive, mobility, and medical devices, is looking for an Installation Technician to join their team!

Responsibilities:

• Repair and service power wheelchairs/scooters, platform lifts and other related Mobility equipment
• Install ramps, platform lifts, stair lifts, auto lifts
• Assist with remodeling interior and exteriors for disabled and senior persons
• Train customers on how to use products after installation
• Provide excellent customer service with customers
• Maintain and replenish inventory for installations
• Schedule service calls and deliveries based on work orders
• Record customer interactions, upload pictures and other related paperwork so that other installers are aware of their last visit and information
• Safely load equipment into work vehicles
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• 2-3 years of related Installation Technician experience
• Valid Driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract
• Must be reliable and dependable
• Basic mechanical skills
• Excellent attention to detail skills
• Clean Criminal Background Check required
• Able to work within a team environment and independently with minimal supervision

Bonus Qualifications:

• Data Entry experience (asset)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (asset)

Compensation and Hours:

• Tuesday to Thursday: 9:00am to 5:00pm
• Pay Rate: $24 per hour (based on experience)
