INSTRUCTIONAL ASSOCIATE – Department of Biology
The Department of Biology at Brandon University invites applications for the position of Instructional Associate Introductory emphasis (continuing appointment) beginning July 1, 2026, or as mutually agreed, subject to budgetary approval. The department of Biology is in a period of active growth and rejuvenation, particularly with respect to modernizing our undergraduate program. We seek an exceptional instructor with a diverse repertoire of modern laboratory skills and outstanding problem solving, communication and organizational skills who will contribute to this momentum)
Qualifications: A M.Sc. in Biology or a related discipline is required, a Ph.D. preferred. Evidence of a successful record of laboratory instruction is required, and preference will be given to applicants with experience in the development of lab exercises and the supervision of undergraduate/graduate student teaching assistants. Applicants may seek to establish an experiential/traditional equivalency to the Master’s Degree degree and are invited to contact the Office of the Dean of Science on how to establish equivalent academic or professional credentials.
Rank: Instructional Associate
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
