Job Description:Our client, a reputable construction firm in Toronto is expanding its business and looking for an experienced Project Manager with Civil construction experience.Your experience you bring will include:

• Experience in estimating civil infrastructure projects preferred

• Experience in civil projects such as transit projects (Bus Rapid Transit, Light Rail Transit and Railways), stations and facilities

• Design-build experience preferred

• Demonstrated experience implementing a strong safety culture by application of health, safety, and environment principles and legislation.

• In-depth knowledge of construction industry including building materials, construction specifications, methods and procedures, construction law and building codes, and safety and quality management practices.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Provides overall contract administration, technical expertise, and support to a medium size construction project.

• Leading the pursuit of new work by participating in estimates, working with trad contractors and participating in proposals and presentations.

• Overseeing the development and implementation the project management plan and quality culture with stakeholder buy-in.

• Understands client drivers and offers value engineering proposals for functionality, cost, and schedule benefit.

• Monitoring project performance, status reports for safety, cost forecast, and schedule.

• Identifying and managing risk and opportunities on construction projects.
