We’re looking for an Intermediate UI/UX Designer to create intuitive and visually compelling game interfaces that enhance player experience. You’ll collaborate with senior designers, artists, and developers to refine UI components, design user-friendly interactions, and contribute to research and prototyping efforts. As an Intermediate UI/UX Designer, you’ll be responsible for designing intuitive and visually engaging interfaces that enhance the player experience. You’ll collaborate closely with senior designers, artists, and developers to refine UI components, ensuring seamless integration with the game’s visual style and mechanics. Your role will involve crafting user-friendly interactions, leveraging behavioral psychology to drive engagement, and iterating on designs based on feedback and research insights. With a strong foundation in interaction and visual design, you’ll help shape how players navigate and experience the game, creating interfaces that are not only functional but also immersive and aesthetically compelling.

Your Impact

  • Design intuitive interfaces that enhance the player experience, ensuring interactions are seamless and user-friendly.
  • Refine visual design elements to align with the game’s overall art style, working closely with senior designers and the art team.
  • Leverage behavioral psychology to inform design decisions that drive engagement and retention.
  • Create and iterate on prototypes based on user testing, feedback, and internal reviews.
  • Support user research efforts by helping design studies, analyze data, and apply insights to improve UI/UX.
  • Develop clear and engaging in-game copy for tutorials, UI elements, and messaging to enhance player comprehension.
  • Contribute to craft development by actively participating in design reviews, providing feedback, and helping to elevate UI/UX quality.

About You

  • Interaction Design Expertise – You have experience developing intuitive interfaces, designing layouts, and refining interactions based on user feedback.
  • Strong Visual Design Skills – You can translate game aesthetics into functional and attractive UI elements that align with the overall art direction.
  • User-Centered Mindset – You apply behavioral psychology principles to inform design decisions and improve engagement and monetization strategies.
  • Prototyping & Iteration – You can rapidly translate ideas into testable prototypes and iterate based on usability testing and senior feedback.
  • Research-Oriented – You contribute to user research efforts, assisting with study design, data analysis, and applying insights to improve user experiences.
  • Clear & Engaging Copywriting – You craft effective in-game text, tutorials, and UI messaging that enhance player comprehension and engagement.
  • Team Player & Collaborator – You thrive in cross-functional teams, working closely with senior designers, developers, and artists to align efforts and ensure seamless implementation.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in the gaming industry, particularly in UI/UX design for games.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard UI/UX tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or equivalent.
  • Understanding of user experience metrics and data-driven design approaches.
  • Background in motion design or animation to enhance UI interactions.
