The Opportunity:

Join our dynamic and globally expanding team at Applyboard, where your passion for international education and sales will thrive. As an International Recruitment Manager, “Location” you’ll play a crucial role in connecting students with life-changing educational opportunities across the world. This position involves remote work and 80% travel to engage with educational agents and partners worldwide, promoting our programs, and driving student enrollments.

What you’ll be doing every day:

• Agent Relationship Management: Negotiate terms of engagement with agents, provide comprehensive training, and maintain active communication to keep agents engaged and motivated.
• Quality Assurance: Guide and support agents to improve the quality and volume of international applicants, ensuring top-notch application standards.
• Student Enrollment: Drive international student enrollment by recruiting students from diverse regions, ensuring a wide-reaching impact.
• Digital Engagement: Utilize CRM and social media platforms to disseminate communications, deliver key messages, and encourage engagement from potential and current students.
• Market Promotion: Conduct presentations and represent ApplyBoard at local and international events to enhance our presence in the marketplace.
• Strategic Marketing: Develop and implement marketing and recruitment strategies through in-depth research and market analysis to maximize outreach and student enrollment.
• Brand Representation: Act as a brand ambassador for ApplyBoard, promoting our services to agents, international educators, and prospective students globally.
• Cross- functional collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, Sales, Customer Experience, to align recruitment partner efforts with institutional goals.
• Proactive Outreach: Actively reach out to agents to build and maintain strong relationships, ensuring a steady pipeline of international student applications.
• Extensive Travel: Embrace the opportunity for extensive (80%) travel to meet agents, attend educational fairs, and expand ApplyBoard’s global network.

What you bring to the table:

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in international student recruitment for secondary and/or post-secondary institutions.
• Education: Post-secondary education or equivalent professional experience.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: Strong aptitude for prioritizing tasks and ensuring accuracy in all communications and data management.
• Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills, able to navigate ambiguous situations to achieve the best outcomes for students and the recruitment partners (Agents)
• Industry Knowledge: Extensive experience working with educational consultants and postsecondary institutions, with a deep understanding of the international education landscape.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience working with CRM systems and leveraging digital tools for effective communication and data management.
• Self-Starter: Autonomous and proactive, with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
