position Purpose
Is responsible for managing and overseeing the intellectual property (patent) portfolios of uOttawa and its affiliates (OHRI, UOHI, CHEO) and for the ongoing administration of licensed technologies and commercialization revenues. Captures, tracks and adheres to strict deadlines of patent offices in different jurisdictions around the world. Interprets legally binding terms in license agreements, ensuring commitments are being met by all parties.
