Overview:The Business IT Analyst will work directly with internal and external clients to gather and document business and functional requirements with a focus on IT solutions Key Ingredients:

  • Elicit clear business requirements with a focus on IT solutions and evaluate scope considering desired outcomes
  • Active management of scope and requirement updates to balance changing business needs with delivery solutions
  • Understand IT business processes and create process map/flow diagrams to visualize IT workflows
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
  • Prepare IT business requirements documents, workflows, training, and other documentation related to IT systems, as required
  • Perform IT data analysis and modeling to support business decision-making and identify opportunities for IT process improvement.
  • Collaborate in the development and execution of IT test plans and test cases
  • Conduct regular communication with stakeholders to present deliverables, provide status updates, resolve issues, and review updated plan
  • Liaise with vendors and business stakeholders to ensure deliverable meets their requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for IT processes and system improvement.

  • Post secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, Computer Systems, Information Technology, or related discipline (or equivalent years of experience).
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of business analysis experience in SAP technology projects
  • Background in CPG, Distribution, Supply Chain, or Retail industry is preferred
  • Certification as a Certified Business Analysis Professional is an asset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is required (Word, SharePoint & PowerPoint, Visio is an asset)
  • Analytical, detail oriented, highly organized.
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills
