- Participate in Agile stand-ups to understand immediate priorities for the day/week
- Work with peers, tech leads and business system analysts to understand application requirements
- Perform unit testing for the code developed
- Utilize Azure deployment tools to move the software into multiple test environments to ensure software is successfully deployed
- Once software is developed and tested, support other technology teams to deploy software into production
- Between testing and production, perform defect triage by interacting with other teams to resolve any software issues
- Develop new user-facing responsive features
- Optimize front end applications for maximum speed and performance
General Skills and Abilities – You are:
- Have the ability to take direction and collaborate with multiple teams and people
- Have the ability to interact with a large number of people and ask for help when needed
- Have the ability to decipher and deal with complex situations
Digital/Technical Skills & Tools – You are:
- Basic Java OR Rest API OR React/Angular skills
- Nice to have (but not required):
- Basic Microsoft SQL Server (Azure) skills
- Spring Boot framework
- Expertise in modern JavaScript / TypeScript / ES6+
- Angular2 and above, Lifecycle & CLI
- Java, Node experience
- NgRx & reactive programming
- Strong REST API design and implementation skills
- Experience in using tools like Bitbucket/Git, IntelliJ/Eclipse, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
Required skill level*
- Basic – e.g., I can do this in simple situations with close or extensive guidance
- Basic to Intermediate
- Intermediate – e.g., I can do this in most situations, with occasional guidance
- Intermediate to expert
- Expert – e.g., I can do this in exceptionally difficult situations with no guidance and I can be a key resource for others.
Education/Knowledge – You:
- College Diploma OR Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or a related field OR a technical training certificate
- Nice to have (but not required):
- Data Analytics training
- Security best-practices
- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, Azure services
- Familiar with Software vulnerabilities and their resolution
Experience (Professional, Academic, Personal) – You:
- Full Stack Development experience
- One year of experience in a related role OR ability to showcase Development Projects related to this position
