Our client is a well-established manufacturing company based in Mississauga, known for its commitment to quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. They are seeking an enthusiastic Entry-Level IT Help Desk Technician to support their internal teams and help maintain smooth day-to-day technical operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to employees via phone, email, and in person
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues
• Set up and configure desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment
• Assist with user account creation, password resets, and access control
• Log and track all support tickets in the help desk system
• Install, update, and maintain software applications
• Support IT projects, system upgrades, and equipment rollouts
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT personnel as needed

Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Basic understanding of Windows OS, Office 365, networking fundamentals, and common hardware
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Eagerness to learn and take initiative
• Previous help desk or technical support exposure (co-op, internship, or volunteer experience acceptable but not required)
