Job description
Background:
- Large organization experience
- 10+ years of storage management experience in Storage technologies
- Design, Deploy, Maintain NAS and Object Storage systems, Storage Monitoring applications, and related projects.
- Provide operational and oncall support over the assigned storage technology
- Expertise in storage management experience in large enterprises, designing, building, administering and monitor storage infrastructure solutions and services.
- Conduct research, build solutions, maintain documentation.
- Advanced experience with scripting in Ansible, PowerShell, Python.
- Advanced understanding of Storage Networking concepts: SMB, NFS, object storage,
- Experience with storage systems in an integrated Linux/Unix/Windows environment, preferably with NetApp clustered systems, Data ONTAP OS, Hitachi Content Platform, and application data management experience
- Experience with UNIX and Windows operating systems.
Must have:
- 10+ years of storage management experience in Storage technologies
- 7+ years’ experience with scripting in PowerShell, Python.
- Leadership prowess when it comes to teams or projects; shares expertise.
- Advanced analytical skills and problem solving experience
- Well-honed, in-depth skills and broad knowledge to address complex problems and non-standard situations.
- Certification on NetApp and Hitachi Storage
