Job Title: Independent Contractor – Jack of All Trades (Gutter Cleaning, Holiday Lights Installation, Snow Removal, Window Cleaning, and Pressure Washing)Job Description:We are looking for a reliable and versatile Independent Contractor to join our team. This role is ideal for a self-starter with a broad skill set who specializes in gutter cleaning, holiday lights installation, and snow removal while also handling window cleaning and pressure washing throughout the year. We aim to keep you busy through the winter and all of 2025 with a steady stream of work, primarily focused on window cleaning and pressure washing.Key Responsibilities:Gutter Cleaning:

• Safely remove leaves, debris, and other obstructions from gutters and downspouts.
• Inspect gutter systems for potential damage or leaks and recommend necessary repairs.
• Ensure all debris is properly disposed of and the work area is left clean.

Holiday Lights Installation:

• Design and install custom holiday lighting displays for residential and commercial clients.
• Safely secure lights and decorations, ensuring electrical safety and stability.
• Provide troubleshooting and repair services for any malfunctioning lights.
• Remove and store holiday decorations once the season ends.

Snow Removal:

• Clear snow from driveways, walkways, parking lots, and other areas using shovels, plows, or snow blowers.
• Apply de-icing materials as needed to prevent accidents.
• Be available on-call during snow and ice events to provide timely service.
• Maintain detailed records of services provided.

Window Cleaning:

• Clean residential and commercial windows to a high standard, including interior and exterior glass surfaces.
• Use appropriate tools and cleaning solutions to ensure streak-free results.
• Ensure the safety and protection of property while working on high or difficult-to-reach windows.

Pressure Washing:

• Use pressure washers to clean surfaces such as driveways, patios, decks, siding, and more.
• Remove dirt, grime, mold, and stains from a variety of surfaces while ensuring no damage to property.
• Assess surfaces before cleaning and recommend appropriate methods or treatments.

Qualifications:

• Experience in gutter cleaning, holiday lights installation, snow removal, window cleaning, and pressure washing.
• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and handle a variety of tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Comfortable working at heights, in various weather conditions, and on ladders.
• Access to reliable transportation and necessary tools/equipment (ladders, pressure washers, snow removal gear, etc.).

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Personal liability insurance (required as an independent contractor).
• Availability during peak seasons (especially during snow events and the holiday season).
• Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment and performing labor-intensive tasks.
• Ability to work on-call, especially during winter months for snow removal.
• Own or have access to tools specific to window cleaning, pressure washing, and holiday light installations.

Compensation:This is an independent contractor position with competitive per-job rates based on the size and complexity of each project.
