Sideworx Connect offers positions for both employees and independent contractors. We specialize in placing short-term and seasonal employees, allowing you control over your schedule and a chance to explore a multitude of projects.We’re seeking skilled Carpenters (Journeyman & Apprentices) to join our roster.Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials is required. Preference will be given to those with experience in installing & dismantling modular camp / structures. These positions will require you to be available for remote project work for multiple weeks. Successful candidates must be willing to travel and work across Western Canada.Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)
• Competence in safely lifting, carrying, and moving construction materials, tools, and equipment
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings
• Ability to take direction and follow instructions to support a safe work environment
• Proficiency in basic math for calculating material needs, costs, and measurements
• Ability to work meticulously and pay close attention to detail to achieve high-quality work and ensure client satisfaction
• Physical stamina with the capability of performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials, standing for long periods, and working in various positions
• Ability to work outdoor in all weather conditions
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with reliable transportation is an asset

• Drug and alcohol testing and a criminal record check may be required
