Salary: $41,600 to $62,400

Our exclusive client, Rovee Cabinetry & Woodwork, located in Vars, ON, is looking for a Jr. Designer / Project Coordinator to join the team and support the growing workload. This is a great fit for someone who loves design, enjoys working directly with clients, and wants to see projects come to life from start to finish. You’ll work in a collaborative, respectful environment where creativity, independence, and continuous improvement are genuinely valued.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Recent graduates from the following programs are welcomed and encouraged to apply — Interior Design, Cabinetmaking, Carpentry, and/or Construction Management
• Some experience in construction/design fields (cabinetry, carpentry, kitchens, etc.) is preferred
• Strong English communication and customer service skills, French considered an asset
• Excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable working in both imperial (90%) and metric (10%) measurements
• Ability to read and understand cabinetry concepts
• Attitude and willingness to learn are highly valued
• Ability to learn new design software (Mozaik)

Duties may include but are not limited to:

• Review project specifications and measurements to create drawings, plans, and layouts using Mozaik
• Engage with clients to understand their needs, vision, and feedback, providing strong communication and customer service throughout
• Follow up on leads, refine design concepts, and support coordination tasks as projects progress
• Deliver accurate, client-aligned cabinetry designs within budget
• (Long-term) Visit job sites to take measurements as needed
• Role Mix: ~70% design work / ~30% project coordination
• Other duties as assigned and needed
