Workforce Inc. is seeking motivated and physically fit General Labourers to support our clients’ mining operations in Kirkland Lake. The successful candidate will perform a variety of manual tasks to assist with the maintenance of their facility with a focus on snow removal.Why Apply?

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual tasks such as cleaning, sweeping, and general upkeep of the mine site
• Snow removal by shovelling, snow float, and/or snowblower
• Hand sanding doors and walkways
• Sander truck operations
• Fueling equipment and diesel heaters
• Load and unload materials, supplies, and equipment
• Assist with the movement of heavy machinery and equipment
• Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment
• Report any equipment malfunctions, maintenance needs, or safety hazards to the supervisor
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve the goals of the mine site
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Site Services Seasonal Operations Supervisor

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks and lift heavy loads
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and potentially hazardous environment
• Must be able to work outdoors in cold winter conditions for extended periods, ensuring productivity and safety in challenging weather
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team and follow directions
• Prior experience in manual labour or the mining industry is an asset
• Valid G class drivers licence and reliable transportation is required

Schedule: 7/7 rotation, 12-hour shifts, alternating day and night shiftPay Rate: $26We thank you for your interest.
