Placement on the Certificated Salary Schedule based on years of experience. A stipend of $1000 for a Master’s Degree. Official transcripts will be required before being hired.

Job Summary Job Summary Under direction of the site principal and in accordance with the policies, rules, and regulations established by the Board of Education, the elementary teacher is responsible to provide the best instructional program for each student within the framework of his/her assignment. The immersion program is designed as an opportunity for children to acquire a second language. The language is not taught as a subject itself, but is used as the language of instruction for science, social studies and math. Requirements / Qualifications

Applicants must be proficient in the Spanish language. Native Spanish speaker and/or BS in Spanish preferred. A valid California Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential, eligibility for NCLB Certificate of Compliance, and certification to instruct English language learner students required. Must be highly proficient in the Spanish language.

Department of Justice fingerprint clearance must be completed prior to the first day of employment at a cost of $62 to the employee.
