Lead Automation QA in Markham, Ontario

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Lead Automation QA to support the creation and execution of a national utilities companies automation framework.

It is located 3 days on site in Markham, and will begin as a 6 month contract with likelihood of extensions.

This role requires a leader who can oversee testing processes, implement and create test automation frameworks, and guide the QA team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

Skills and Requirements

7+ years of experience in automation testing

 3+ years in a lead role

 Previous experience working with enterprise architect to create frameworks

 Experience creating and tracking quality KPIs, providing regular updates to stakeholders using tools like Jira, TestRail, ADO, or other test management systems

 Experience leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of test automation frameworks Experience with platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, salesforce

 Familiarity with behavior-driven development (BDD) frameworks like Cucumber or Behave.

 Experience in testing complex systems, including microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native applications.

 ISTQB or equivalent QA certifications. null
