Lead Developer – DevOps

As a Lead Developer in DevOps, you will play a key role in designing compliance between deployment environments, ensuring scalability, security, and flexibility. You will manage and provide additional assistance to resolve issues and escalations in software/system monitoring, and provide data for configuration activities. You will review critical tickets/incidents to ensure accuracy and lead the process of resolving critical issues affecting multiple applications or groups. You will assist development teams by providing advice on best practices and implementations in observability, and help with tracking and reporting costs. You will research and propose solutions for deployment automation.Advantages

Contribute to the design of deployment environments that meet compliance, scalability, security, and flexibility requirements.
Assist with monitoring and cost reporting to ensure efficient resource usage and budget alignment.
Support development teams by offering expert guidance on observability best practices and implementation strategies.
Investigate and suggest automation solutions for deployment processes to streamline operations.
Manage and provide support for addressing monitoring-related software and system incidents.
Review critical tickets and incidents to ensure accuracy and lead the resolution process for major issues.
Provide necessary data to support the configuration of monitoring tools, including dashboards and alerting systems.Qualifications
Holds a bachelor’s degree in a related field and brings 5 to 8 years of experience in advanced technology environments.
Demonstrates strong expertise in cloud technologies, particularly AWS, with hands-on experience in Snowflake (mandatory) and IICS (Informatica).
Has solid command of CI/CD practices using tools such as Git, GitHub, Jenkins, and Terraform. Relevant certifications (AWS, Jenkins, Terraform) validate the technical expertise.
Comfortable working with ITSM and SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, ITIL, SCRUM, Kanban), and able to adapt to both structured and agile environments.
Highly autonomous and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage priorities in fast-changing contexts.
Brings analytical thinking, perseverance, and a collaborative mindset.
Bilingualism (French and English) is required if based in Montreal. English only is acceptable if based in Toronto.
Also shows a natural curiosity and motivation to explore and learn new tools.Summary
