Requirements:
A level of education/experience deemed equiv. may be substituted for the required education and/or experience. Master’s degree in education required; preference will be given to a doctorate in education related to the subject of the course; – At least one of : Recent full-time teaching experience in a school or school board administration, including two years of Ont. Curriculum implementation with a specialist qualification in Secondary Education, OR Current refereed research record in Secondary Education, OR Recent comprehensive examination (Ph. D) in Secondary School Teaching; – Demonstrated knowledge of the Ontario context as it relates to Secondary School Teaching; – Proven ability to apply the Ontario College of Teachers’ Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics; – The University may consider experience or qualifications equivalent to those mentioned above.
