Our client in the Legal Industry is looking for an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support their dynamic & collaborative practice.Responsibilities
Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents and correspondence
Manage case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and organized
Stakeholder management with regards to both internal staff, court officials and external clients
Calendar management, along with meeting and project coordination
Assist in preparing legal materials and documents for trial
General administration for internal databases and electronic filing systems, ensuring data accuracy and easy retrieval
Conduct conflict of interest checks
Stay up to date with laws, regulations, and court rules relevant to our client’s practice areas
Providing backup support when other legal assistants are absent or assistants who require additional support due to upcoming deadlines
Conduct research to support lawyers’ case strategies and arguments
Ad hoc duties and projects as required
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably in litigation
Strong interpersonal skills and willing to work collaboratively within a dynamic team
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail
Expected salary
$92000 per year
