Job Duties
As our Legal Counsel, Contracts, be responsible for expanding the functions and capabilities of the Contract Management team by handling high risk/high exposure contracts and providing guidance and leadership to the team. You’ll also provide advice on contract matters and assist in streamlining the contracting process. This role is also responsible for the review, analysis, and negotiation of business line contracts (new installation, modernization, service and repair contracts) to manage risks and enhance customer satisfaction, while ensuring compliance with legal standards and company policies.
You will bring 2+ years of progressive and successful experience working with commercial contracts in a corporate or law firm setting, with string negotiation skills handling complex contract requirements to KONE. You will use the knowledge gained through your bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B. S.) and Juris Doctor (J.D) or Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from an accredited Canadian law school or equivalent. Must be a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.

Annual Base Pay Range:
The hiring range for this role is $113,900 – $156,640. The compensation package offered will depend on their ability to meet the requirements of the role and a range of factors unique to each candidate, including their skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location.
Variable Compensation
KONE Annual Bonus plan at 15% Target Incentive (50/50) based on achievement of company goals and individual goals.

Responsabilités
En tant que Conseiller(ère) juridique, Contrats, vous serez responsable d’élargir les fonctions et les capacités de l’équipe de gestion des contrats en traitant des contrats à haut risque/forte visibilité et en fournissant des conseils et du leadership à l’équipe.
Vous offrirez également des conseils sur les questions contractuelles et contribuerez à rationaliser le processus contractuel. Ce rôle comprend l’examen, l’analyse et la négociation de contrats (nouvelles installations, modernisation, service et réparations) afin de gérer les risques et d’améliorer la satisfaction client, tout en assurant la conformité aux normes juridiques et aux politiques de l’entreprise.

Rémunération
Salaire de base annuel : 113 900 $ – 156 640 $
Le forfait de rémunération dépendra de la capacité à répondre aux exigences du poste, des compétences, de l’expérience, des certifications et de la localisation.
Rémunération variable :
Prime annuelle KONE à 15 % de l’objectif (50/50) selon l’atteinte des objectifs de l’entreprise et individuels.
