Summary of the Role
The Influencer Relations Manager, legal is responsible for building and managing Thomson Reuters influence strategy across the legal ecosystem. The role works closely with Product and Technology Communications & Corporate Communications team, Legal & Corporates Segment Marketing, Partnerships and Alliances Team, Events, Product, Analyst Relations, and senior legal leaders to ensure that Thomson Reuters is represented accurately, responsibly, and credibly in influential legal conversations globally.
About the Role

Program Design & Activation
Design and run structured influence programs (e.g., roundtables, briefings, collaborations, events, thought‑leadership initiatives) rather than one‑off engagements.
Translate real‑world Thomson Reuters initiatives—such as legal AI pilots, ethics work, or education partnerships—into credible third‑party validation.
Support major product and platform moments (e.g., CoCounsel Legal) with appropriate influencer engagement.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Product and Technology Communications & Corporate Communications team to ensure alignment with media strategy, messaging discipline, and risk management.
Collaborate with Legal Segment Marketing and Product teams to ensure influencer engagement reflects real product capabilities and roadmap priorities.
Coordinate with Analyst Relations to reinforce consistent narratives across analyst, influencer, and media audiences.
Governance, Risk & Measurement
Establish guardrails, engagement protocols, and best practices for influencer relationships in a regulated professional context.
Establish KPIs and measure against them.
Ensure all influencer engagement adheres to Thomson Reuters standards for ethics, transparency, and data protection.
Define and track success metrics focused on influence quality, narrative impact, and contribution to awareness, credibility, and pipeline—not vanity metrics.
