Overview:We are seeking a talented Marketing Analyst to drive excellence in Fountain Tire’s mechanical business in our South Edmonton Corporate Head Office.This role will lead the research, coordination, and execution of automotive mechanical programs designed to enhance our approach to labor, parts, fluids, and service packages. They will apply their analytical skills to enhance mechanical category performance, identify improvements, and drive strategic decisions through performance and financial analysis.   • Competitive salary: $70,000 – $75,000 per year
  • A Short-Term Incentive Program with a target incentive of 10% to recognize your contributions to the organization

Duties and Responsibilities:Administer and maintain mechanical item details in the corporate ERP system: Manage pricing, attributes, features, benefits, service packages, and taxes. Oversee related functions in ERP systems, including the digital vehicle inspection platform and Integrated Service Estimator (ISE).Analyze financial and performance metrics: Evaluate the mechanical category’s financial performance, including sales, margins, variance analysis, forecasts, and budget achievements. Assess store performance against productivity benchmarks and recommend improvements based on these insights.Develop and manage promotions and competitive strategies: Create and oversee mechanical promotions, analyzing ROI and effectiveness while managing the annual promotional plan. Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to guide store recommendations and maintain historical data.Create and implement an effective communications plan: Ensure timely and accurate dissemination of category information to store associates and the Operations team. Administer communication channels related to the mechanical category, including the corporate website and advertising.Document and oversee vendor relations: Communicate vendor programs, product offerings, pricing, and incentives. Hold vendors accountable for product performance and price competitiveness, ensuring alignment with company standards.Support the Sales Team with service-related materials: Assist with quotes, proposals, and sales materials concerning service programs and pricing for fleet solicitation, enhancing the team’s ability to secure and manage accounts effectively.What does it take to get on track?

  • Post-Secondary degree or diploma in marketing or business administration
  • 3-5 years of related marketing experience preferred with a focus on data analytics and performance measurement
  • Solid understanding of marketing and pricing management, with proven experience in proposing, refining, and selling programs to company leaders.
  • Experience in the automotive aftermarket service industry would be considered a major asset
  • Ability to travel 10% of the year
  • A strong cultural fit with Fountain Tire by demonstrating a commitment to customer service and continuous improvement.
  • Skilled in managing projects from inception to completion, including documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with team members, associates, and vendors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
