Our client in Brampton is searching for a Marketing Assistant to join them for a 2 month full-time contract. This opportunity requires the candidate to work onsite 5 days per week at the client’s location in Brampton.The RoleThe Marketing Assistant will focus primarily on content and posting to the client’s social media feeds using Hootsuite, but may also assist with flyers, brochures editing graphic design files, updates on the company website, and distribution of materials to other locations.Responsibilities

• Content creation including but not limited to, brochures, press releases, social media content, promotional advertising
• Assisting in the development and delivery of promotional materials and marketing collateral
• Supporting the team in maintaining and updating the website, potentially on a new platform
• Interpreting data from Google Analytics and organizing it into spreadsheets for further analysis
• Managing the receipt and distribution of materials through an inter-office courier system
• Taking ownership of assigned tasks and providing support to marketing team members

Your Skills & Experience

• 1-2 years of Marketing experience in a similar role
• Demonstrated experience with written Social Media Content Creation
• Fluent with Adobe Illustrator and Canva
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be able to communicate with a diverse range of people
