Marketing Manager, AWM (Mississauga, CA)Life Unlimited.At Smith+Nephew, we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living.As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in gathering market research and be the voice of customer insights to guide the development and execution of a commercial strategy for the Advanced Wound Management (AWM) product portfolio across the Canadian marketplace.What will you be doing?Collaborating with the Marketing Director, the role involves crafting a portfolio strategy and roadmap, along with developing launch plans and marketing programs. This position operates under the direction of the Marketing Director – Advance Wound Management (AWM) and aims to encourage the sales team to meet annual revenue targets and enhance portfolio performance. Proximity to the Mississauga, Ontario office is necessary, as the role is hybrid and requires approximately 2-3 days in the office per week.This is a fixed term position that will end in April 30th 2026What will you need to be successful?Ideal candidates bring expertise in Market Intelligence and an ability to collaborate and foster relationships with the sales team and external customers. Responsibilities include gathering market insights, analyzing trends, and organizing customer events. In Strategic Marketing, collaboration is vital for developing and implementing annual plans, analyzing the product portfolio, and implementing demand-driving programs. The candidate will oversee the lifecycle management of products, including launches, upgrades, and phase-outs.This role will be working with cross-functional teams, adapting collateral materials for different regions, and overseeing supply chain performance. In KEL Development, individuals collaborate with Medical Education to build relationships with education leaders and collect customer feedback. For RFPs and Pricing, collaboration includes analyzing business opportunities, formulating RFP strategies, and providing submission support. Successful candidates adapt swiftly to market changes, possess strong multitasking abilities, and demonstrate excellent communication skills. A dynamic teammate with an entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to innovate is highly valued.
- University degree required, MBA is an asset
- 4-5+ yrs experience in managing sales, marketing, and product management/or development working in a health care or medical device environment
- Experience in the medical device industry, with solid understanding of Canadian healthcare system
- Experience with negative pressure wound therapy or wound care solutions is a strong plus.
- Ability to get results, strategy development and execution\
- Strong analytical skills, problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Bilingual (English & French) is an asset

Travel Requirements: This is a hybrid role requiring 2-3 days per week in the Mississauga office (and as required). Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
