Marketing Officer – Contract – 17721About the OpportunityWe have the good fortune of working with a small but mighty national association in the agriculture/food space, to source a star Marketing Officer. Reporting to the Vice President, this dynamic role offers the opportunity to work with members, stakeholders and colleagues to market the organizations mandate and programs.Duties include but are not limited to:

• Execute the corporate marketing plan, including brand management, consumer education and outreach programs
• Oversee the creation and production of corporate marketing materials
• Assist in the creation of web content and provide limited graphic design support
• Contribute to social media content and placement
• Monitor and analyze analytics for website and social media and track media placements
• Create the annual membership directory and maintain various databases and lists
• Participate in conventions, meeting and events with occasional travel

About YouThe successful candidate will have the following:

• Post secondary education in Communications, Marketing or related field
• A minimum of two years of relevant marketing/communications and social media experience
• Experience working with projects/campaigns from inception to execution
• Demonstrated ability to work with emerging technology to enhance reach
• English essential/ Bilingualism considered and asset

About the JobThis position is a full time/term position (5 months) offering an annual salary of $55,000-$65,000. This role is currently hybrid, requiring three days/ week on site. Offices are centrally located in south west Ottawa with free parking.
