Job Title: Medical ReviewerJob DescriptionThe position is for a medical reviewer with over 4 years of experience in post-marketing pharmacovigilance, preferably with neurology experience. The candidate must have an MD or equivalent degree and understand the healthcare system in North America. The medical reviewer will be responsible for reviewing adverse events, assessing seriousness and causality, writing company comments, and identifying any additional actions needed. Argus experience is required as the work is done in a safety database. The role requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and a willingness to help the team. It is not a traditional 9-to-5 job, and the candidate must be able to accommodate fluctuating workloads and meet regulatory timelines. The onboarding process is extensive, taking 6-8 weeks of training before the candidate can start contributing. The initial contract will be for 12 months, with the possibility of conversion to a permanent role if the candidate performs well.Responsibilities

- Assess seriousness and causality of events
- Write company comments
- Identify additional actions needed
- Utilize Argus for safety database management
- Ensure compliance with regulatory timelines
- Support team with flexibility and strong communication
Essential Skills
- MD or equivalent degree
- 4+ years of experience in post-marketing pharmacovigilance
- Experience in neurology (preferred)
- Proficiency in MedDRA coding
- Experience with Argus safety database
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in pharmacovigilance
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience practicing in Canada or the United States
- 3 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, including pharmacovigilance
- Clinical practice experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology
Work EnvironmentThe position is fully remote, requiring candidates to manage their own workspace and maintain productivity.
