Job description
Our Toronto based client is seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Specialist contractor to join their project starting immediately and will run for 3 months with possibility for extension. This will be a hybrid work setting with on-site days required.
- The ideal Business Central Analyst will support the configuration, customization, and optimization of Business Central while managing reporting, security, and access controls.
- The role involves working closely with business users to define requirements, implement system changes, and ensure seamless operations.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central configuration and customization.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central users.
- Manage support and incident resolution, escalating complex issues through the appropriate ticketing system and ensuring timely resolution.
- Configure and customize Business Central to meet business needs, including security, permissions, and user profiles.
- Oversee license management, tracking available licenses, processing new license requests, and handling assignments.
- Maintain and modify Microsoft Business Central reporting & documents, ensuring accuracy and business alignment.
- Develop and update Power BI reports, configuring changes as needed and ensuring scheduled data refreshes.
- Handle permissions, security groups, and access management for Business Central, Power Apps, and other integrated applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify process improvements and implement system enhancements.
