Main Duties:
Reporting to the Director of HR, this position assists in Learning and Development, Total Rewards, Employee Relations and Talent Acquisition department initiatives.Responsibilities include: This positions main responsibilities are assisting in building, monitoring, maintaining and supporting processes in SIGA’s human resources department. This position is responsible for learning SIGA’s Human Resources policies and procedures. This position has a focus on following provincial and federal employment law and using legislation to ensure quality and compliance within SIGA human resources. There is a focus on review and monitoring of SIGA Human Resources best practices and researching improvement strategies when required. In turn, this position participates in the quality assurance of HR metrics and reporting. This position supports the development of, and assisting in, the implementation of HR initiatives at SIGA and its casinos. Performs other duties as assigned.Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidates are subject to a background check as well are required to obtain and maintain a gaming employee Certificate of Registration from the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA)/Indigenous Gaming Regulators (IGR).
- The minimum age to work in a casino or any area where gaming can be seen is 19 years of age.
- Some SIGA locations operate in a high sensory environment. You may be required to work in an environment where you will be exposed to tobacco smoke, high noise levels, flashing and blinking lights, and a congested workplace. SIGA adheres to all occupational health and safety regulations and makes every effort to limit the adverse effects of these elements.

- Compliance with all regulatory requirements as may be applicable to your position including but not limited to both SLGA requirements and the Anti-Money Laundering requirements set out in the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act and regulations and policies made thereunder by Canada and FINTRAC.
QualificationsEducation:This position is strictly for a new or recent graduate (graduated from a Canadian Institution). Applicants must have obtained a diploma, advanced diploma, degree, applied degree, or masters, by a recognized or authorized post-secondary institution (e.g. college, technical institute or, university) completed between April 1, 2022, and June 30, 2024. Education completed must have a specialization in Human Resources.You must upload your proof of graduation to the Education section of your Candidate Profile no later than the closing date and time of this poster.

Experience:
- One year of experience in a research environment, office administration or human resources department would be considered
- Demonstration proficient with computer software e.g. Microsoft Office with the ability to learn new programs as required
- Experience working with diverse situations and personalities
- Desire to learn and grow. Motivated by new challenges, resilient with ability to adapt quickly to change.
