Are you passionate about making a difference in the healthcare sector? Discovery Community College is looking for additional dedicated individuals to guide our students through their Health Care Assistant (HCA) training in Victoria, BC.

About the Role:

• Position: HCA Instructor

• Location: Onsite in Victoria, BC

• Schedule: Monday to Friday (exact times TBC)

• Duration: January 2025 to mid-April 2025 (with potential for ongoing hours)

• Qualifications:

• Current full and valid registration with the BCCNM.

• Minimum of two years of full-time nursing experience.

• 2800 hours of nursing experience, including work with older adults with complex health needs.

• Experience or orientation in home support and multi-level care.

• Teaching Skills: Ability to teach adult learners (mentoring/instructing).

• Instructor Diploma: Provincial Instructors Diploma or willingness to obtain one with our support.
